Pets Go! is a spin-off of the Pet Simulator series, emphasizing random number generation (RNG) mechanics. Players start by rolling dice to earn pets, which are assigned rarities based on the odds of obtaining them, ranging from Basic to Secret. This guide will help you master the game with proven strategies and insider tips!
Starting Off Strong
One of the first things I noticed when I started playing Pets Go! is that auto-rolls are the first thing any beginner should get! This upgrade will save you tons of time and let you progress much faster.
You can get it by going to the "Upgrades" section:
Then find it on the lower right of "Instant Hatch" and unlock it!
Now you don't need to press the dice button to get new pets! Cool, right?
Essential Beginner Tips
There's a lot to share, so I've created a simple guide that will help you get through the starting phase with strength and confidence!
Start Rolling to Unlock Quests
Begin by pressing the "Roll!" logo in the middle of the screen to earn pets. This action also unlocks quests, which appear on the right side of the UI. Quests are crucial as they offer permanent coin boosts, essential for purchasing upgrades.
Complete Quests for Coin Boosts
Quests typically involve rolling pets of certain rarity levels or clearing breakables (once unlocked). Completing these tasks enhances your coin earnings, making it easier to afford upgrades. For example, tasks might require rolling an Epic pet or breaking 50 objects.
Prioritize Upgrades
Use earned coins to buy upgrades that improve your odds of getting rarer pets or increase coin gains. Early upgrades should focus on luck boosts or coin multipliers, as these directly impact your ability to progress. Examples include the "Lucky Pets Upgrade," which increases luck based on your rarest pet, and "Valuable Pets Upgrade," offering bonus coins for 1/1,000+ rarity pets.
Engage in Trading
Unlock the Trade Plaza to trade pets using Diamonds. This feature allows you to acquire rarer pets by negotiating with other players, enhancing your collection and coin earnings. Join community groups or servers to find trading partners.
Advanced Strategies for Pro Players
I'm no pro at this game, but I've still managed to find some really helpful strategies to get the most out of your gameplay. These tips will help you advance much faster than the average player!
Save Special Dice for Optimal Moments
Save instant, rainbow, and gold dice for when you have active luck boosts and cocktail potions. Save these dice for server-wide luck boosts, maximizing their effectiveness in rolling rare pets. This strategy can significantly increase your chances of obtaining high-rarity pets like Legendary or Mythical.
Manage Your Inventory Effectively
By default, the inventory is locked, requiring the "Inventory Upgrade" to access. Once unlocked, organize your pets and items to track what you have. Upgrades like "Roll Items" and "Better Items" increase the frequency and quality of items obtained through rolling, aiding in inventory management.
Participate in Events for Unique Rewards
Events like the previous Comet Event are probably the best way to get rare and unique pets easily! They often offer limited items to boost your roll chance and mini-games that let you earn exclusive rewards that might not be available again.
